World War II D-Day Tour Itinerary

Visit the Landing Beaches of Normandy on this unique and fascinating 4 day tour. The Normandy Landings began on the 6th June 1944, when 150,000 troops landed on the beaches. Known as Operation Overlord, these battles represented the turning point of the Second World War in Western Europe. As you walk along the beaches or through the cemeteries, the sense of history and importance of the places is inescapable and deeply moving.

First time visitors are often surprised at the number of bunkers, gun emplacements, monuments and museums dotted along the fifty odd miles of coast assaulted on D-Day, a commemoration to the many lives lost on both sides.
