Enjoy the best of both worlds. Elegant, refined Quebec City and the rugged wilderness of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Quebec offers 400 years of history in the only walled city in North America. This UNESCO World Heritage site is easily covered on foot allowing you the opportunity to explore the cobbled streets at your own pace after becoming oriented with a half day city tour. Located in the French speaking region of Canada, the unique culture and setting of Quebec provides a wonderful backdrop to a memorable holiday.
Heading east we travel to the forests, mountains and oceans of Fundy National Park in New Brunswick and Cape Breton in Nova Scotia for eight nights. Combining forest chalets and seaside cabins the beauty of nature is at our doorstep. Guided walks are on offer for those interested while tours are organised for the days to see the amazing sights including the explosion of colour as the trees change colour, walk on the ocean floor at the Bay of Fundy, explore the highlands of celtic Breton with the opportunity of seeing wildlife ranging from whales to moose. The seafaring city of Halifax is our final destination. A free day in Halifax plus a scenic day tour to the villages of Peggy's Cove, Lunenberg and through the Annapolis Valley to Wolfville provides a fitting end to an extraordinary trip.
