68th Anniversary of D-Day Tour
Normandy Landing Beaches
“We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds,
we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender.”
On June 6, 1944, the fate of the world changed when Allied Forces stormed the beaches of Normandy, marking the turning point of the Second World War. This is your opportunity, on the 68th Anniversary of the D-Day Landings, to stand on the very beaches where this pivotal battle was waged.
Each year a number of special events are held to commemorate D-Day which are include in the itinerary where possible. Previous events have included Parachute Drop Reenactments, Parades, the American Ceremony at Omaha Beach, American and British Reeactment Camps, Flyovers and 1940's Military Vehicle Parades.
