Armistice - World War I Tour
Join us on this unique 4 day tour to commemorate the 93rd Anniversary of Armistice as we visit the WWI battlefields of Flanders and the Somme where over 200,000 Irishmen fought. Guided by a professional historian, the tour includes special Commemorative events and a focus on Irish soldiers involvement.
Visits to the main battle sites, cemeteries and memorials include Willie Redmond's Grave, the 16th Division Memorial, Guillemont, Ulster Tower and the Island of Ireland Peace Park at Messines where the 16th Irish Division and the 36th Ulster Division fought side by side against a common enemy. A truly historic era in the world's history, now you have the opportunity to see what happened for yourself.

Day 1
Fly from Dublin to Brussels. Meet your Tour Manager at the airport and transfer by executive coach to Ypres.
Visit the Flanders Field Museum before continuing on to Brugges.
Day 2
Visit the WWI Battlefields of the Somme including Pozieres, Dartmore Cemetery, Guillemont, Lochnager Crater,
Beaumont Hamel (Newfoundland Memorial), Ulster Tower and Thiepval Memorial.
Day 3
Attend the Armistice Commemoration Services and events in Ypres including the Poppy Parade and the
special Last Post Ceremony at the Menin Gate Memorial. Also visit the Ireland of Island Peace Park,
Willie Redmonds Gravesite and the Wytschaete 16th Division Memorial.
Day 4
