Day 1
Depart from Dublin to Krakow. Meet your Tour Manager on arrival and transfer by executive coach to Krakow for a guided tour of this wonderful medieval city including the Old Town, Market Square and Wawel Hill.
Day 2
This morning visit the old Jewish region of Kazimierz, the wartime Ghetto of Podgorze and the famous Oskar Schindler Factory. In the afternoon visit the ‘ideal’ communist propaganda town of Nowa Huta, built in 1949 as a huge centre of heavy industry.
Day 3
A guided tour of the emotive Auschwitz Birkenau Memorial and Museum isfollowed by a visit to Wadowice, home of John Paul II, where you will visit Dom Rodzinny Museum and the baroque church, the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Day 4
This morning visit the wonderful Wieliczka Salt Mines, which continuously produced table salt from the 13th century until 2007. Continue on to the Polish aircraft museum, formed in 1964 to preserve and exhibit aircraft, engines and other items of importance to the world's aviation heritage.
Day 5
Visit to the Gallery of Polish Arms and Uniforms at the National Museum followed by free time to enjoy and explore this delightful city at leisure.
Day 6
Free time in morning in Krakow before returning by executive coach to Krakow Airport for your return flight to Dublin.
