Day 01:
Depart Dublin to Venice. Upon arrival, meet your professional tour manager for transfer by executive coach to the historic city of Trieste in Italy. Enjoy a guided tour of this lively city and it’s beautiful surroundings as we follow in the footsteps of James Joyce. Travel onto your hotel located in Slovenia along the magnificent Adriatic coast. On arrival enjoy a guided tour of the beautiful city of Piran, famous for its Venetian style architecture.  Dinner at your hotel. Overnight in 4* Hotel Histrion in Portoroz.

Day 02:
This morning visit Piran, an old Mediterranean seaport, situated at the cape of the Piran peninsula on the northern side of Istria. Narrow streets and quaint houses are a special charm of the town. The most remarkable building of the Piran is the parish church of the St. George, rebuilt in approximately 1637. Visit Izola in the afternoon. You can sense the spirit of the Mediterranean at every step as you pass through the narrow medieval streets, watch the boats bobbing in the harbour and enjoy a friendly chat with the locals. Return to Portoroz for dinner at your hotel. Overnight in the Hotel Histrion.

Day 03:
After breakfast visit Pula, the largest town on the Istrian peninsula. Pula offers a diversity of attractions to lovers of culture. The rich itinerary of its three thousand year old history, where every step you take through the old town is a landmark, begins and ends with the Roman amphitheatre. A great tourist asset is surely 190 kilometres of indented coastline, crystal-clear sea and beaches to suit everyone’s needs: smooth and even stone surfaces or pebbles for all generations, especially families with children or “secluded” beaches hidden by untouched greenery for those who want a bit of privacy. Return to Portoroz for dinner at your hotel. Overnight accommodation in the Hotel Histrion.

Day 04:
This morning travel to the beautiful Postojna Caves which consist of 20 km of wondrously sculpted galleries, chambers and halls. Enjoy a tour by a special cave train where, accompanied by experienced guides, you can admire the stunning formations in special lighting. This afternoon enjoy a wine tasting at a local vineyard. Return to Portoroz for dinner at own expense. Overnight in the Hotel Histrion.

Free day to relax or explore Portoroz. Dinner at own expense. Overnight accommodation in the Hotel Histrion.

Day 06:
Travel on to Ljubljana for a guided sightseeing tour. Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, lies between the Alps and the Adriatic Sea , and is one of Europe’s absolute jewels. It is a vibrant city full of surprises, with surrounding areas packed with natural beauty and cultural sights bearing witness to the city's dynamic history. Ljubljana is a wonderful city for those who like to shop! Continue your journey to Bled and check into your hotel. Dinner at your hotel. Overnight in the Hotel Golf.

Day 07:
Drive to Bled Castle followed by an optional ride with on a lake gondola. The castle is situated on Slovenia’s only island, sheltered by picturesque mountains. Castle terraces offer spectacular views of the lake and over to the mountain ranges of the Karavanke and the Julian Alps. In the afternoon travel on to Vintgar Gorge, one of the most popular natural features in Slovenia. Along the narrow passage of the gorge, where the Radovna river thrashes loudly against its rocky confines, there are paths, galleries and bridges constructed in the rock. The river flows over cascades and rapids and ends at the delightful Šum waterfall, the highest river fall in Slovenia. The view from above Zasip is one of the finest views over the entire area of Bled. Dinner at your hotel. Overnight in the Hotel Golf.

Day 08:
Today visit beautiful Bohinj and majestic Mount Vogel. Bohinj is one of the most beautiful places in the heart of the Julian Alps, combining the natural beauty of high mountains with mountain meadows and quaint villages to guarantee a pleasant visit. Highlights include the glacial Lake Bohinj and Mount Vogel, which is ascended by cable car. Dinner at your hotel. Overnight accommodation in the Hotel Golf.

Free day to relax or explore Lake Bled. Dinner at own expense. Overnight accommodation in the Hotel Golf.

Day 10:

Day 12:
Today travel to Venice for your return flight to Dublin.
