Day 1
Fly from Dublin to Munich. Upon arrival at airport, meet your local representative and transfer to hotel in Bad Ischl, Austria. You will be greeted on arrival by the owner of the hotel with a welcome drink.

Day 2: Hiking day – approx. 12 km, easy hike
Start your hike along the historical Salzkammergut brine trail from Bad Goisern to Hallstatt. Enjoy the beautiful views over the lake Hallstättersee and the surrounding mountains. You will arrive directly at the Saltmines in Hallstatt. The guided tour through the saltmines will inform you about the history and presence of salt production. We recommend strolling through this World Heritage of Unesco village. At the end of the day take the ferry boat to the other side of Lake Hallstättersee and by train further to Bad Ischl. Evening dinner in your hotel.

Day 3: Visit to the Ice Caves and 5 Fingers Viewing Platform
Today we take the Dachstein World Heritage cable car to the Giant Ice Caves for a guided tour into the magic scenery. We ascend by cable car to the Five Fingers Viewing Platform and the World Heritage Helix. The Five Fingers Platform has horizontal towers, just like a hand, high above where the mountain cliff drops into a 400m abyss, providing truly spectacular views from Mount Krippenstein.

Day 4: Hiking day – approx. 15 km easy to moderate hike, mostly slight descent.
Hike along the river Traun to Altaussee - after Altaussee you come to a beautiful mountain pasture region and you will hike about 2 hours along hiking trails without any traffic in our beautiful nature. Enroute pass the farm hut Blaa Alm where we will enjoy a traditional lunch complete with folk musicians.

Day 5: Cycling day – approx. 30km
This morning collect your bike and the helmet for the tour today. Cycle to Lake Wolfgangsee till you reach Strobl. Continue on to the south shore to Abersee and cross by boat to beautiful St. Wolfgang. After walking around and visiting the sights of St. Wolfgang return to Bad Ischl.

Day 6: Bad Ischl and Salzburg
Visit the former Emperor’s Castle (Kaiservilla) in Bad Ischl followed by free time.  In the afternoon we visit the historic city of Salzburg for free time and individual shopping. Return to Bad Ischl for evening.

Day 7:
Transfer from Bad Ischl to Munich Airport for your return flight to Dublin.
