Day 1 – Dublin to Buenos Aires
Check-in for your flight from Dublin to London Heathrow and onwards from
London to Buenos Aires with British Airways.
Depart Dublin to London Heathrow.
Arrive London Heathrow Terminal.
On arrival into Terminal 1 please proceed to Terminal 5 for your onward flight to Buenos Aires.
Depart from London Heathrow to Buenos Aires.
Overnight flight.
Day 2 – Buenos Aires
Arrive Buenos Aires International Airport. You will be met by our GTI
representative at the airport who will accompany your for the duration of
your trip.
Transfer to your hotel by executive coach and check into your hotel for 4
nights accommodation in a centrally located 4* hotel.
Lunch at own expense.
Commence your guided sightseeing tour of cosmopolitan Buenos Aires,
a major Latin American city with bustling cobbled streets, grand avenues,
old-time cafes and stylish restaurants. Discover the beauty of this
multicultural city as you visit the colourful La Boca area as well as Recoleta,
San Telmo, the Colon Theatre, the National Congress and the
Presidential Palace.
Welcome dinner at one of Buenos Aires famous Argentinean steakhouses.

Day 3 – Buenos Aires and Tigre Delta
Breakfast at your hotel.
Interested tour members can avail of an early morning visit to the Liniers
Cattle Market, the largest cattle market in the world. Some 10,000 to 13,000
head of cattle are sold here each day, four days a week and prices at Liniers
tend to set the mark for the rest of the country.
Next is a visit to the Argentine Beef Promotion Institute, responsible for the
design and develop of strategies to improve Argentine beef products'
competitiveness domestically and internationally. They also play a strong role
in the consolidation of Argentine beef quality and security, contributing to the
efficiency of productive and industrial processes.
Transfer by coach along the amazing coastline to the lush Tigre Delta for
lunch at ownexpense.
After lunch enjoy a cruise along the Rio de la Plata where the Parana and
Uruguay Rivers flow, creating one of the world’s largest estuaries. This private
river tour passes small rivers, water canals, forested islands, numerous yacht
clubs and luxurious weekend residences, revealing the coastline and nature in
all its splendour.
Return to Buenos Aires for dinner at own expense.

Day 4 – Buenos Aires and Uruguay
Breakfast at your hotel.
This morning travel by ferry to the historical port city of Colonia del
Sacramento in Uruguay. Upon arrival step back in and enjoy a guided
sightseeing tour of this lively colonial town. The charming cobble stoned
streets flanked by whitewashed buildings wind create a character filled city,
and in Colonia you will find excellent restaurants, cafes, art and craft shops,
and museums.
Lunch today is at a traditional restaurant in the exclusive Real de San Carlos
area in Colonia (included).
After lunch transfer by coach into the Uruguay countryside for a number of
farm visits. Agriculture in Uruguay has played a hugely significant factor in the
economic life of the country and continues to be recognised as a sizeable
contributor. The area surrounding Colonia del Sacramento is the main dairy
region of Uruguay while there is a high standard of beef production, assisted
by vast, well irrigated plains.
Dinner at own expense in Colonia.
After dinner return by ferry to your hotel in Buenos Aires.

Day 5 – Buenos Aires and Pampas Region
Breakfast at your hotel.
Travel today to the flat, fertile plains of the famous Pampas region. Covering
more than 300,000 square miles, this renowned agricultural area is one of the
richest grazing landscapes in the world due to the temperate climate and rich,
deep soil. The economy of La Pampa is dependent on agriculture, particularly
the beef cattle for which Argentina is famed, due to the rich, grass-fed flavour
of the meat. An extensive network of dairy farms also thrive in the Pampas
region with over 300 local processing plants and industries.
There will be a number of designated farm visits in the Pampas there will also
be a visit to a pampas ranch where you will enjoy a traditional asado
barbeque lunch.
Return to Buenos Aires for free time and dinner at own expense.

Day 6 – Buenos Aires to Iguazu Falls
Breakfast at your hotel.
Free morning to enjoy Buenos Aires. There are a host of museums, a stunning
harbourside and plenty of outdoor cafes to discover.
Check out of your hotel and transfer to Buenos Aires Airport for flight to
Iguazu Falls. Upon arrival in Iguazu transfer by coach to your hotel.
Dinner at own expense.
Overnight in Iguazu.
Day 7 – Iguazu Falls
Breakfast at your hotel.
Today enjoy guided tours of both the Argentinean and the Brazilian sides of
the spectacular Iguazu Falls, one of South America's most amazing natural
wonders. At 3km wide and more than 250 separate falls dropping 70m into
the river below, the falls are surrounded by subtropical forest. Amazing
viewpoints are located all along the Park.
The sight of the falls is a marvellous one and the experience is different from
both sides. Morning visit with English speaking local guide to the Argentinean
side of the Falls. This side of the Iguazu Falls offer the most unique and varied
up-close views of the Falls.
Lunch at own expense.
Afternoon visit with English speaking local guide to the Brazilian side of the
Falls. This side of the Falls offer the most spectacular panoramic views.
Dinner at own expense.
Overnight in Iguazu.
Day 8 – Iguazu Falls and Buenos Aires
Breakfast in you hotel.
Check out of your hotel and transfer by coach to Iguazu Airport for your
return flight to Buenos Aires.
Lunch at own expense. Afternoon for free time at leisure in Buenos Aires.
Dinner at own expense.

Day 09 – Buenos Aires
Breakfast in you hotel.
Free day at leisure to enjoy the delights of Buenos Aires.
Today Buenos Aires is vast, yet easily accessible. The compact central area
around the Avenida 9 de Julio, with the widest avenue in the world is a must
see while shopping is most fashionable on upscale Avenida Santa Fe and the
Florida and Lavalle pedestrian malls.
A visit to La Bocca, a working class area originally populated by Italian dock
workers, is a must see. This area has bloomed into a colourful center of art,
restaurants and bright metal houses which present a refreshing change from
the rest of the city. The colours come from the brightly painted houses on the
Caminito, a pedestrian walk named for the tango of the same name and the
waters of the Riachuelo. The painter Benito Quinquela Martín was a leading
influence in the use of colour and his home, now the Museo de Bellas Artes
de La Boca, displays his paintings of dock workers.

Day 10 – Buenos Aires to Dublin

Check out of your accommodation for coach transfer to the airport.

Arrive London Heathrow Terminal.
On arrival into Terminal 5 please proceed to Terminal 1 for your onward
flight to Dublin / Cork.
