Agricultural Tour to Cuba - Sample Itinerary

There are few more fascinating destinations in the Caribbean than the largest and most populous island, Cuba. Steeped in the history of Spanish colonialism and post-war revolution, Cuba's unique culture is still very much in evidence today, from its stunning colonial architecture to the old American cars cruising the streets of Havana. Agriculture in Cuba has played an important part in the economy for several hundred years, particularly the fertile plains where sugar cane and tobacco grow.

Day 1

Day 2
Morning guided sightseeing tour of historic Havana. Afternoon panoramic tour follows the crystal blue waters of the Malecon coastline on the northern shore of Havana. Evening dinner at the famous Tropicana Caberet Show. Overnight in Havana.

Day 3
Morning travel to Viñales. Afternoon visit to farm and tobacco factory. Overnight in Viñales.

Day 4
Full day excursion to Cayo Levisa. Overnight in Viñales.

Day 5
Depart for Havana with farm visits to the ecotourism center of the Las Terrazas Community. Overnight in Havana.

Day 6
Departure to Trinidad via Cienfuegos and Casa Campesina, south of Havana with a visit to The Livestock Company, Sierrita. Overnight in Trinidad.

Day 7
Morning tour of the Historic Center of Trinidad. Afternoon free. Overnight in Trinidad.

Day 8
Full day excursion to the Great Natural Park Topes de Collantes. Overnight in Trinidad.

Day 9
Day free to explore Trinidad at leisure before afternoon departure for Havana. Overnight in Havana.

Day 10
Depart Havana for Dublin.
